The HY battEliiy P Series is a line of lithium-ion starter batteries for motorcycles. Developed based on core technologies honed in our stationary batteries (L Series), it delivers world-class safety, long lifespan, and wide operating temperature range. It meets the demands of starter batteries: safety, excellent cold-weather starting performance, and long service life.
Typical lithium-ion batteries tend to experience marked voltage drops at low temperatures, resulting in a noticeable decrease in starting performance.
The HY battEliiy P Series overcomes this issue through proprietary technology, delivering stable starting performance even at –10℃/14℉.
While lead-acid batteries are generally superior to typical lithium-ion batteries in cold conditions, the HY battEliiy P Series demonstrates even better cold-start performance.
Riders can enjoy smooth starts in cold regions or during winter touring, without the need for troublesome procedures*.
*For example: repeatedly turning the motorcycle’s ignition switch on and off, or leaving the headlights on for an extended period.
The HY battEliiy P Series features exceptionally low self-discharge, making it highly resistant to battery depletion even during long-term storage. In most cases, supplementary charging is not required*.
The HY battEliiy P Series requires much less maintenance than lead-acid batteries.
*Depending on the vehicle’s standby power consumption after the ignition is turned off, occasional charging may be necessary.
Generally, repeated use causes batteries to deteriorate, increasing internal resistance and reducing starting performance.
In contrast, the HY battEliiy P Series maintains stable output over the long term, with minimal changes in internal resistance even after repeated charge–discharge cycles.
Even after more than 100,000 start‑up cycles*, it maintains the same level of performance as when new, ensuring reliable engine starts and demonstrating exceptional longevity.

The HY battEliiy P series incorporates technology developed by ELIIY Power for stationary batteries to achieve extremely high safety: it does not emit smoke or flames, even when punctured or crushed.
The BMU (Battery Management Unit) is built into the battery pack, enhancing safety not only for the battery itself but also for system control. Additionally, the exterior uses PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) resin, providing excellent durability and environmental resistance.
